- Independently provide legal support to various divisions, including middle office and back office units of our client's investment banking and asset management operations.

- Advise senior management and stakeholders on legal risks and issues.

- Ensure smooth operation of the investment banking and asset management business by supporting services and reviewing, vetting, or drafting documents to mitigate legal risks and maintain industry standards.

- Manage disputes and litigation matters.

- Recommend improvements to work procedures and documentation to strengthen legal risk management.

- Deliver training on legal risk areas and regulatory updates, including preparing materials and implementing training programs.

- Bachelor's Degree in Law.

- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably including at least 3 years at a top-tier legal firm, specializing in corporate commercial law, banking law, or capital markets.

- Strong knowledge of investment banking and company law, litigation, and employment law.

- Experience and knowledge of laws and regulations from the securities commission, stock exchange, and central bank required.

- Relevant legal certifications or equivalents are advantageous.

- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office.
