Eddie is a lawyer by training, and he practiced law before he became a well-known recruiter in Malaysia and the region. After he was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2003, he started practicing law with a reputable law firm before he moved on to an in-house counsel position with an IT company after leaving private practice.

In 2007, he started an online law portal called eLawyer at www.eLawyer.com.my, and he has never looked back since. He was blessed with the unique vision to set up the first-of-its-kind website providing combined legal job board listing service and executive search service. Prior to eLawyer, law firms were recruiting through traditional means. Eddie successfully transformed the legal career market and positioned eLawyer as the ”go-to recruitment expert”. Today, eLawyer is the market leader and the regional gateway to Malaysian legal talents.

Eddie’s experience as a lawyer both in private practice and in-house position gives him unique insights into the technicalities of legal recruitment and understanding the requirements of both employers and candidates. He remains convinced that his professional journey enables him to make a better match between an employer and a candidate.
