-Lead compliance initiatives covering anti-money laundering, securities law, personal data protection, anti-bribery & corruption, sanctions risk, and corporate governance.

-Act as a trusted adviser to management on regulatory compliance and legal matters.

-Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and risk-based programs.

-Conduct audits, investigations, and training to promote a strong compliance culture.

-Draft, review, and manage contracts, legal documents, and agreements, including property, financing, and corporate documentation.

-Stay updated on regulatory changes, assess implications, and implement practical compliance solutions.

-Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or relevant field.

-Qualified lawyer with minimum 5 years of corporate experience, including exposure to compliance in capital markets.

-Strong knowledge of corporate governance, local laws, and regulatory requirements in Malaysia.

-Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

-Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines with integrity and professionalism.

-Compliance-related certification is an advantage.
