About the Role
As a Chief Conveyancing Clerk, you'll play a key role in setting up and leading the conveyancing team in our newly established JB office. Working closely with our young and forward-thinking partners, you will oversee conveyancing operations and provide vital support in client engagement and office management.

Key Responsibilities
1) Assist the partner with day-to-day office operations.

2) Oversee and guide conveyancing clerks handling commercial loan files.

3) Initially manage files independently while helping to build and mentor the conveyancing team.

4) Provide sales support: send quotations, attend client/business meetings with the partner.

5) Handle S&P agreements for developer projects and land transactions.

6) Manage perfection of charge and transfer, liaise with the Land Office.

7) Conduct land searches, and prepare loan documentation for various banks.

8) Draft tenancy agreements and carry out other duties as assigned.

1) Minimum 10 years of conveyancing experience, with strong exposure to commercial loan documentation.

2) Familiarity with Maybank commercial loan processes is a plus.

3) Confident in handling developer, sub-sale, and bank-related conveyancing matters.

4) Mandarin-speaking ability is an added advantage (to liaise with clients).

5) Leadership mindset. Ready to take on a managerial role and grow with the firm.
