Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Legal Associate with 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience to join our Financial Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling matters related to Banking & Finance, Debt Capital Markets/Sukuk, and Islamic Finance. Experience in cross-border finance, infrastructure project finance, real estate project finance, and financial regulatory advice is preferred. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and exposure to high-value, complex legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Advise clients on a range of financial services matters, including banking, finance, debt capital markets, Sukuk, Islamic finance, and financial regulations.

2)Assist in structuring, negotiating, and drafting a variety of financial transactions, including project finance, real estate project finance, and infrastructure financing.

3)Provide support on cross-border finance matters, working closely with international clients and legal teams.

4)Research and analyze legal issues relating to financial regulations, banking law, and financial markets.

5)Collaborate with senior legal professionals to deliver high-quality legal advice to clients.

6)Handle client relationships and assist in business development efforts.

7)Work both independently and as part of a team to manage and deliver on client projects.

1) 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience in Banking & Finance, Debt Capital Markets/Sukuk, and Islamic Finance.

2) Experience in cross-border finance, infrastructure project finance, and real estate project finance is a plus.

3) Strong understanding of financial regulations and the ability to provide regulatory advice.

4) Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

5) Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

6) Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

7) Proactive attitude with a high desire to learn and further develop legal expertise.

8) Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
