This role will serve as the primary legal advisor for the Asia region, collaborating with senior leadership across operations in Malaysia, India, and Indonesia. Reporting to the Group Deputy General Counsel, you will handle a wide range of legal matters, compliance, and strategic projects.

- Commercial Contracts: Draft, review, and negotiate agreements, including sales, supply, construction, guarantees, and warranties.
- Dispute Resolution: Manage pre- and post-litigation matters, resolving claims in collaboration with external counsel.
- Compliance & Training: Provide guidance on anti-bribery, competition law, conflicts of interest, and related compliance matters.
- Internal Investigations: Conduct investigations and implement solutions for compliance concerns.
- Corporate Legal Advisory: Support matters related to corporate, real estate, labor, and intellectual property law.
- Strategic Projects: Contribute to restructuring, acquisitions, and divestitures in alignment with the company's objectives.
- External Counsel Management: Effectively manage and oversee external legal advisers.
- Law degree with Malaysian qualification and 10+ years post-qualified experience.
- Solid background in corporate or commercial law from a reputable law firm.
- Proven in-house legal experience, particularly in drafting, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Business-oriented mindset with sound commercial judgment and ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multinational environment, with excellent communication skills in English.
