We are on the lookout for candidates (between 0 to 2 years Post-Qualifying Experience) who are interested in practising civil litigation at Messrs Sia Siew Mun & Co, based in Sungai Besi, Kuala Lumpur.

Budding junior litigators or pupils with the right attitude and diligence can expect:-

(a) A competitive monthly remuneration package, on top of other discretionary payment, because we want to reward hard work and diligence;

(b) Hands-on guidance and exposure to essential areas of civil litigation, so you get to personally grow as a litigator;

(c) First-hand involvement in all files undertaken by the firm, so you have a full understanding of the facts and legal issues involved;

(d) Opportunity to work with senior counsel and to handle advocacy, at the appropriate juncture.

If you think that you meet the following minimum requirements, we invite you to apply as either a legal associate or a pupil-in-chambers:-

(a) Interested in civil litigation and demonstrate a willingness to learn.

(b) Fluent in Malay and English (both written and spoken), because you need to be able to draft and communicate your thoughts effectively.
- Knowledge of Chinese language and/or other language(s) and/or dialect(s) is an advantage but not essential.

(c) Have own transportation, as you may need to attend Court and/or arbitration.
Candidates with more than 2 years Post-Qualifying Experience may also apply, but priority will be given to those of 0 to 2 Post-Qualifying Experience.
