Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on various legal issues, including corporate, commercial, employment, and intellectual property law.
2. Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements, including but not limited to NDAs, service agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, Shareholders Agreement, Co-Development Agreements and vendor contracts.
3. Compliance: Ensure the company�s compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including data protection and privacy laws.
4. Mergers and Acquisition (M&A): Assist with current ongoing M&A projects which includes review and drafting of various transaction documents, liaising with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
5. Policy Development: Assist in development and update of internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practices, where required.
6. Advisory: Provide legal advice and support to various departments on a wide range of legal issues.
7. Training: Conduct training sessions for employees on legal topics, such as compliance, data protection, and contract management, as and when required.
1. Education: LLB from an accredited law school.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
3. Skills:
a. Strong analytical and research skills.
b. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
c. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
d. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
e. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
f. Strong contract drafting, reviewing and negotiating skills.
g. Solution oriented
