- Conduct thorough legal risk assessments for commercializing technology solutions internationally, and provide practical solutions based on market experience.
- Draft and negotiate legal documents, including product agreements, sales agreements and partnership agreements.
- Prepare and enhance standardized agreements for products.
- Work closely with internal teams, including compliance, data privacy, and AML teams, to develop and implement risk mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with internal control, finance, and product departments to create and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proactively observe market trends and industry practices and advise on risk tolerance levels and provide strategic risk mitigation advice.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Law is required.
- Preferably with legal education from a common law jurisdiction, such as UK, US and Australia.
- Additional qualifications in computer science or related fields are a plus.
- Fluency in English and Chinese is required. Capable of conducting internal and external communications, participating in negotiations, and drafting agreements in both languages.
- Minimum of five years of experience in law firms, renowned technology companies or internet companies.
- Familiarity with legal issues in cutting-edge technology areas such as SaaS products, software deployment, intellectual property and open-source software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent project management abilities.
- Proactive and strong interest to learn, especially in technology matters.
- Occasional travels required.
