- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, employment law, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
- Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research to stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Identify and assess legal risks and propose appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure legal compliance in all business operations and initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
- Represent the company or liaising with appointed legal counsel in legal proceedings, such as disputes or litigation, as required.
- Liaise and manage relationships with external legal counsel, when necessary.
- Keep abreast of any changes in legislation, regulations, or legal requirements that may affect the company.
- Degree or Post-Graduate in Law from a reputed university with a valid Malaysian Bar Practising Certificate with at least three (3) years' experience (PQE).
- In-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, and legal principles relevant to the industry.
- Willing to relocate in Kuantan, Pahang for a minimum of 1 year.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide practical legal advice.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in Mandarin, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong negotiation and drafting skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Experience in contract review, negotiation, and drafting.
- Familiarity with employment law, and corporate governance.
- Proficiency in legal research and strong legal drafting skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- 45 working hours per week (Half working day on every Saturday/ Alternative working Saturday).
