Key Responsibilities:

1)Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
-Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
-Leverage professional networks to attract new clients and files to the firm.

2)Mergers & Acquisitions:
- Lead and manage M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiations, and closing.
- Advise clients on deal structure, regulatory compliance, and risk management in accordance with Malaysian law.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of M&A-related documents.

3)Construction Contract Drafting:
-Draft and negotiate construction contracts, including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) agreements, subcontracts, and project financing agreements.
-Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

4)General Commercial Contract Drafting:
-Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
-Provide strategic legal advice to clients on contract terms, risk mitigation, and commercial implications.

- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from a recognized university.
- Admission to the Malaysian Bar and in good standing.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong emphasis on M&A, construction contract drafting, and general commercial contract drafting.
- Proven track record of client development and ability to bring in new files.
- Exceptional negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
