1)Legal Advisory:

-Provide expert legal counsel on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and regulatory compliance.
-Offer strategic guidance to clients on complex legal issues, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

2)Client Management:

-Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
-Lead negotiations and consultations with clients on legal matters.

3)Business Development:

-Contribute to business development initiatives, identifying new clients, and expanding the firm's corporate law practice.
-Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to explore growth opportunities and market trends.

4)Team Leadership:

-Provide leadership and mentorship to legal teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
-Oversee the development and execution of legal strategies.

5)Compliance and Risk Management:

-Stay abreast of changes in corporate laws and regulations in Malaysia.
-Develop and implement risk management strategies, ensuring legal compliance across all business activities.

6)Transactional Work:

-Manage and lead negotiations for high-value transactions, ensuring favorable terms for clients.
-Draft and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements.

1)Educational Background:

-A law degree from a recognized institution. A postgraduate qualification or specialization in corporate law is preferred.

2)Professional Experience:

-Substantial experience practising corporate law, at least 7 PQE, in Malaysia, with a focus on business transactions and advisory services.
-Proven track record as a successful lawyer and demonstrated ability to handle high-profile cases.

3)Membership and Licensing:

-Must be a qualified lawyer and a member of the Malaysian Bar Council.
