-Provide sound and strategic legal advice and support property development business of the company across multiple locations.

-Able to independently draft, review and provide constructive advice to Management on land acquisition transactions, joint venture arrangements and related matters.

-Support existing property business operations including but not limited to advise Management on strategic planning of contentious matters and execution of approved action plan.

-Flexible in navigating and work through uncertainty and all levels of stakeholders to obtain the necessary alignment and approval.

-Legal research and provide regular updates on key developments in laws and regulations relevant to property business, as well as coordinate legal trainings on relevant legal topics.

-Liaise with internal and external parties, including managing external counsels, communicating with government officials and/or attending tribunals and courts on legal related matter.

-Perform any other ad-hoc tasks as maybe assigned by the superior or Company.

-Possess a Bachelor Degree and being called to the Malaysian Bar with at least 8 years of post-qualifying experiences. Litigation related experience is a must.

-Real estate related experience is highly preferred.

-Ability to analyze and advise on complex issue, good business acumen and judgment in providing as well as implementing legal solutions.

-Ability to meet strict timeline and provide summary report to Management.

-Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.

-Possess own transport and ability to travel on short notice is required.
