1. Possess deep knowledge and experience in litigation, providing legal advice and insights to clients.
2. Represent clients in litigation matters, including court appearances, negotiations, and legal research.
3. Advocate for clients in court, present arguments, cross-examine witnesses, and manage all aspects of the litigation process.
4. Develop and execute comprehensive litigation strategies, set goals, identify legal issues, and determine the best approach to achieve favourable outcomes.
5. Assess the risks and benefits of pursuing cases, advising clients on the most strategic and cost-effective approaches.
6. Maintain strong client relationships, keep clients informed about case progress, and address client concerns and questions.
7. Lead and manage teams of junior lawyers/associates and support staff working on cases. Provide guidance and mentorship.
8. Negotiate settlements and agreements when appropriate, using experience to reach favorable terms for clients.
9. Attract new clients, develop and maintain client relationships, and expand the firm's litigation practice.
10. Ensure all legal work is conducted with the highest ethical and professional standards, adhering to the rules and regulations governing the legal profession.
11. Stay up to date with changes in the law and engage in continuing legal education to maintain expertise.
12. Willing to undertake any tasks assigned by the senior partners from time to time.

1. A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognized law school.
2. Admission to the Malaysian Bar and a valid practising certificate.
3. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in general litigation (experience in construction litigation is preferred).
4. The ability to conduct trials independently at all levels of court.
5. Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
6. Leadership and team management experience is preferred.
7. Willing to undertake business development and client management works whenever necessary.
